Mies van der Rohe Haus

Mies van der Rohe Haus has a circle of friends and supporters who came together in 1999 to form a non-profit association. The association supports the work of the Mies van der Rohe Haus Berlin both intellectually and financially. Through the commitment and expertise of its members, it helps preserve Berlin’s only authentic and continuously inhabited Bauhaus-era residence. Through donations and membership contributions, its supporters help sustain this icon of modernism as a venue for contemporary art. Among other things, the association enables the publication of a range of high-quality publications.

Without the support of the Friends and Supporters Association, the Mies van der Rohe Haus would not be what it is today: a unique interplay of timeless architecture, visual art, and cultivated nature in the spirit of modernism.

The association, which brings together enthusiasts of art and architecture, artists, art historians, architects, collectors, gallerists, local residents, and Mies admirers such as former German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, looks forward to welcoming you as a new member.

The annual membership fee for the Friends and Supporters Association of the Mies van der Rohe Haus is:

• Individual membership: EUR 100 per person
• Couple membership: EUR 150 per couple
• Under-35 membership: EUR 35 per person

Membership fees are fully tax-deductible.

If you are considering supporting and preserving the Mies van der Rohe Haus through the association on a long-term basis, our board will be pleased to advise you on the various possibilities of legacies, testamentary donations, and bequests in support of the institution.

We guarantee that your contribution will be used exclusively for non-profit purposes, for the preservation of the Mies van der Rohe Haus, and for a program committed to cultural diversity and aesthetic education. Your contribution is assured full recognition and appreciation.
