The Mies van der Rohe House has friends and sponsors. They joined together in 1999 to form a non-profit association. The association supports the work of the Mies van der Rohe Haus both ideally and financially. Through the commitment and know-how of its members, the association helps to preserve a living monument. Through their donations and membership fees, they contribute to securing the quality of the Mies van der Rohe Haus, which is recognised far beyond local borders, as an exhibition venue for modern art. Among other things, the Friends of the Mies van der Rohe Haus also make it possible to publish a series of catalogues specially designed for the Mies van der Rohe Haus. Without the support of the association, the Mies van der Rohe Haus would not be what it is today: the unique triad of architecture, fine art and designed nature in the spirit of modernity.
Become a friend and sponsor of the Mies van der Rohe Haus! The association of art and architecture enthusiasts, artists, art historians, architects, collectors, gallery owners, residents and Mies fans is looking forward to welcoming you as a new member.

For a more authentic atmosphere, the rooms should be furnished more with real Mies' furniture. The round M 515 side table by Thonet - a re-design to mark the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus - would fit in well with the house and its current use.
Donations on betterplace.
